ETSI IoT Week
23 October 2017 @ 08:00 - 26 October 2017 @ 17:00
To develop standards for Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) is important since they help to ensure that products and services are safe, reliable and interoperable.
ETSI, the European Telecommunications Standards Institute, is a European standards organisation which produces globally-applicable standards for ICT. ETSI publishes between 2,000 and 2,500 standards every year.
This event consists of workshops, showcases and tutorials for people working with IoT standards and technology roadmaps as well as users of IoT.
MONICA is represented by two partners at ETSI’s IoT workshop: Steffen Ring from Ring Advocacy will participate on 26th October in the session Developing IoT with the presentation: H2020 Project MONICA: Management Of Networked IoT Wearables – Very Large Scale Demonstration of Cultural and Security Applications. From Telecom Italia, Roberto Gavazzi will participate in a session on System Interoperability on 24th October with a presentation on the OneM2M MONICA platform. The title of the presentation is Cross Operator oneM2M Platform Interworking.
